The 3rd Annual Modern Phoenix Home Tour

Landscape Architect Tom Zimmerman and his wife Angela have lived in this home since 1970. The driveway has been cut to create a tiled pattern leading up to the entry patio, which shows an easy blend of southwestern and modern style, playing up the original mortarwashed textures of the home. The deep aqua channel windowscreens both out front and out back provide ample protection from the rising and setting sun. The casita out back references the low-sloped aesthetic of the home and is positioned in the largest room of the home, the yard! The lushly hardscaped back yard with often-lit fireplace and ample den addition completely maximize the use of space, making this home feel roomier than it really is and creating great circulation for entertaining large or small groups. The 1970s era bathroom remodel with chocolate fixtures cannot be missed.
NOTE: Our 2007 tour SOLD OUT so...
