The home that Al Beadle built for his family in the early 50s on the south side of Camelback Mountain has fallen prey to time and neglect, and stands today as an empty shell. It was planned to be knocked down for a new home last year.
But due to the persistence of the Modern Phoenix community—one curious “Mr. X” in particular—the owner has had a change of heart and intends to restore this historic property to its former polish, as well as update the property for modern living.
