Modern Phoenix Week
March 23-April 1, 2012

A week of tours, talks, fashion, film and fun!
Our 8th Annual home tour will be held in the Marion Estates neighborhood on the border of Phoenix and Paradise Valley. This hilly enclave of custom homes was built out from 1952 - 1962 and features hidden gems by architects Ralph Haver, Blaine Drake, Al Beadle and Charles Schreiber. Developer Ard Hoyt's House of Light, a popular home model wired for all-electric living, also got its start in Marion Estates. Tickets for all events go on sale in February 2012, so sign up below to receive advance notice before the rest of the public does--our home tour sells out every year!

Our bustling Modern Marketplace on the light-flooded floor of the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts atrium is the ideal venue to find new products or services related to Modernism, architecture, interior design, literature and home renovation. Vintage fashion, jewelry, furniture, lighting and accessory dealers are encouraged to exhibit. Contemporary interior designers, landscapers, furniture designers, green builders and architects are also welcome to apply. Contact alison@modernphoenix.net to register as an exhibitor.

Ticket fees apply. The self-guided tour runs from 1 to 6 pm April 1 and requires a check-in between 1 and 3 pm that day to receive tour map. Check-in location near 44th and Camelback Road will be sent with your tickets.
