So, brainstorm time. We will go with the idea that the structural design of the addition will be very close to what we see here. This addition is a canvas for you to optimize. The addition can blend, contrast, OR contrast dramatically. There was some discussion about offsetting the addition back a little bit, or even a separation of the master bedroom from the main house(behind the connecting hallway)with some sort of garden in it.
What materials to use?...and what color should they be? Metal? Glass?(salvaged glass from
Mountain Bell??) Trendy modern, timeless modern, flavor of the week, something nobody ever thought of, radical, classy, subtle genius, blatant genius, enough to get the job done....I don't know.
Maybe spend some time on the Beade Archive for inspiration and ideas. WWBD? Beadle did remodels, additions, etc. He understood the realities of financial factors, but he also didn't appreciate his work being diluted. Blah blah blah, you know all this crap. Put on your black clothing, and...
