Looking for Plumbing Contractor & Tile Setter

Postby nichefindyours on Sat Aug 20, 2005 5:33 pm

Work has begun on the Haver. I need a licensed plumbing contractor to do some work on the baths. Relocating the washer & dryer inside. and moving around some plumbing fixtures. Also need a good tile setter for about 75 s.f. in the baths. Any numbers would help!

Thanks

Hey Shawn,

I'd be glad to give you a bid on setting your bathroom tile. What type of tile are you looking at installing? Also, when would the baths be ready for the tile?

You can reach me at 480-363-4426.

Thanks!

Trent is doing tile work for us right now. I can say he is extremely knowledgable and does amazing things with tile! He's also great with metal work and furniture design and fabrication!!! What can't he do?! I highly recommend his services!!!

Shawn,

I could definitely swing by and take a look, and give you an estimate. Do you already have the tile?

Trent,
Metal work? We live two doors south of Shawn and Tiff (lately our front yard looks like a vista on the moon or somewhere the U.S. military has been deployed) and would love to talk to you about a modern fence design to 'enclose' our front courtyard. The fence is approx. 12'x5', includes a gate for access.

On a separate, but related note, we are interested in any expertise about grinding some concrete. We are getting ready to rehab that small, outside concrete courtyard (12x14). Has anyone ever rented a grinder and attached scarifying blocks on the rotors to smooth the concrete and reveal the aggregate?

See reference: http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/gl_design_pati ... 75,00.html

How does this process work with cracks, joints, and edges? Lessons learned? Degree of difficulty?

Any help would be much appreciated? If possible, we can correspond with your visit to S+T's bathroom.

James and Janet,

I can definitely take a look at your ideas for a front fence/gate while I am over at Shawn and Tiffany's. I am going to try and make it over there this afternoon or evening. I too am going to be building a new steel front fence soon to replace the disusting wood fence in place now. (not that all wood fences are horrible... just ours.)
So if you are going to be around this afternoon/evening I can come and take a look. I work right up the street at 16th St and Northern, and we live in Town & Country so you are practically on my way home.

Thanks!

You rock! If one of us is not home, please feel free to look around. The courtyard is already enclosed on three sides. We are looking for something on the north side. Something metal with a gate, maybe rusty, modern, and something that compliments the Haver, not competes with.
Thanks,
