5202 Saddle Rock Drive

It was not a very big catch this weekend fishing for photos of the Beadle house at 5202 Saddle Rock Drive. Nevertheless, here's one photo of the exterior, the south side that faces the City of Phoenix at night. And one of the interior, the family room beside the pool. Water from it apparently got splashed on the picture. (Not really, more likely a bourbon and Squirt). And a third little surprise, thrown in for free. At the bottom left of the exterior picture you'll see a little something that looks like a Beadle house that is currently the focus of MoPHo's attention. This is the sister house on Cliffside Drive. Sorry about the palm tree, it couldn't be helped.

This faces south, and has a great view of Phoenix at night. Master BR on the right, Living room on the left. The stone in the wall between the two is from an outcropping now covered over by Shea Blvd. near Paradise Gardens.

I was back in Scottsdale for Christmas, and having heard that the house was for sale, I called up the agent and arranged a tour. It's a mess, but I did manage to get a couple of pictures I thought would be of some interest.

Oops, one other photo. About the only unscathed room in the house was this guest bath, still the same yellow porcelain fixtures and maroon tiles floor.
