A funny thing happened on the way to a Construction Zone jobsite yesterday.

I was waiting in the line at Desert Mountain to get through the construction entrance of the development and this screwball in the truck behind me bumps my bumper. He didn't hit it very hard, so I didn't make a fuss. It was his loss anyways since the old van I was in was going to do more damage to his brand new white Nissan. So the guy proceeds to bump me a couple more times, so now I lean out the window and realize it is my buddy Wayne. At this point Wayne thinks he is so funny. This is basically what he looked like in my rearview mirror "" -except with a cowboy hat on.

I have worked with Wayne professionally for about a dozen years and we got to talking about Construction Zone, and eventually Beadle's name comes up. He says something to the effect that he didn't realize that I knew who Beadle was, and I say about the same thing back to him. As it turns out, Wayne worked on countless projects over the years with Beadle. So, it was amusing that we both have known each other for so long and we never realized each other's appreciation for Beadle's work.

Wayne says that the place in the picture above didn't get built because some genius at PV city hall didn't feel it was appropriate for the neighborhood.

That is SO AWESOME. Does anyone know where to find more of these renderings done by Al Beadle? I would love to see more of this beautiful work...
