What is Going on at White Gates?

I took one of my routine rides past White Gates this evening and saw some activity has been going on. There are spray paint markings for utilities on the road. there is a pile of gravel that was not there before and there is some caution tape along the east side of the structure. Does anyone have any news about what is happening there?

It looks as if the police finally put up crime scene tape around the area where I was standing when that house stole my heart so long ago.

I just took a bike ride this morning and stopped at my most favorite place in Phoenix. Apparently all the work that took place a few weeks ago was to install a new electrical panel. Does this mean there is a restoration project starting?

In July, I discovered the the electrical panel install has passed inspection by SRP on 4/24/12. A recent drive by reveals no obvious changes.The photo is blurry, but that little blue tag is the inspection sticker

Do we even know who owns the house now? It's a relief: an electrical box rules out a bulldozer.
