Red/Pink CMU Block

Postby the taxidermist on Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:45 pm

Im exposing some block walls that are on the interior of my house. They are stucco currently. Anyhow, the block is redish/pink which I hear is pretty rare and also looks awesome ; ) My issue is I may need to find a few more blocks. I had a cross in the wall which was taken out and also my fire place which is round will now be rectangular. I have a few work arounds but ultimately I would like to get it perfect. Does anyone know where I can source this kind of block If I need it? Thank you!!!

There's a place in Glendale that carries it. I can't remember the name offhand but they know it at Marvel and can direct you there.

There are two places I would check:

Metro Block
5455 West Montebello Avenue
Glendale, AZ
(623) 915-0393

Preach Building Supply
1601 West Hatcher
Phoenix, Arizona 85021
(602) 944-1304

Make sure you specify what type of block you are looking for (slump or house) and the size (example: 4 by 8 by 16 is the high by width by length and called out as 4 8 16)
