Mid-Century Modern homes in Tucson Area

Postby rldlloyd on Thu Mar 22, 2007 7:45 pm

Hello! I am new to this website as I live in Huntington Beach, CA. (Just a few miles from the Eichler neighborhoods in Orange. :D ) I am considering a move to Tucson to be closer to family. Does anyone know of any modern neighborhoods or areas in the Tucson area?

Move to Phoenix, you'll be close enough. Tucson is gross. (sorry, I'm an ASU fan :P )

There are some very cool homes and condo complexes near the Univ of AZ.

I think these are popular, although I never saw them:

I also think they started some more developments out there by the same team.

I've started looking at those Eichler homes in OC, do any of those ever become available?

Also, there is some good things happening around the University in Tucson, I'd start there.

I go out there alot on business, these are pretty close to the freeway, I caught a glimpse of the back while driving.

I think they are not too far from U of A also.

The Eichlers do become available, but rarely the good ones. Usually they are the ones that have all sorts of "upgrades" which make them harder to restore than if they were just in bad repair. There are a couple up right now. They usually list between $650,000 and $900,000. Here is a good site: http://www.eichlersocal.com/.
