Rocky Point modern

Postby hectoracuna » Thu Jun 08, 2006 3:33 pm

A bit out of the area, but with soooo many property owners (leasers) from The Valley, Rocky Point has a few mod looking beach homes amongst Mexican Riviera-Tuscan style concrete creations. Thought you all might enjoy.

FORS Rocky Point Modern

The house was done by architects Sonya Natalie Solinsky and Miguel Fuentevilla of FORS Architecture and Interiors in Tucson. 520-795-9888
FORSarch@earthlink.net

Not sure if that's who you might call for rentals or even if contact info is still current.

mod in rocky point

Postby miguel fuentevilla » Thu Jul 27, 2006 9:29 am

Unfortunately the home is not a rental. The clients do not wish to list it at this time. We do have another one in the planning stages that will be a modern home open to rental in rocky point but the timeline is quite a few years out. Our phone is still 520 795.9888 or forsarchitecture.com. If there is anything we can do to support the mod home experience count us in.

Here is another rather modern looking place in the Las Conchas community of Puerto Peñasco.

You could use one to help lure unsuspecting 19 yr old "Girls Gone Wild"...

(That would be my best marketing slogan if I were in charge)

The Clifton property is on the party beach and is the first new development along there. With the soft real estate market in RP-- my guess is that the units are going for less than the asking prices. For beachfront RP, those asking prices are pretty low... If anyone is in thinking about beachfront mexican property, this might be a good opportunity....

Isn't it still a trust when you "buy" w' in a certain distance of the coast or the border? A 99 year lease? Not real "ownership", please corect me if I'm wrong...

i will clarify what I can but I am not an expert at this... Foreign ownership is via a land-lease using bank trust documents. i believe the bank trusts are 50 year with perpetual renewability (made up word).

Links to the small nativist/modern "green" house my partner and I built in the Las Dunas development in Santo Tomas 60 miles south of the nightmare that is now Puerto Penasco. Empty beaches, safe and secure plus my fun and reasonable beach house. It's been featured on the concretenetwork.com website (type in green house mexico) and is for sale too.
